Tuesday, Feb. 22 is National Margarita Day.
Coming right after the long President’s Day weekend, we say keep the celebrations going! There’s no better way to warm up in these late winter days than with a spicy margarita, but as an incredibly versatile cocktail for any season or location, Milagro Tequila has got options for any palate.
Here’s a classic margarita recipe that you will enjoy.
THE FRESHEST MARGARITA
- 2 Parts Milagro Silver
- 3/4 Part Agave Nectar
- 1 Part Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Lime Wheel (Garnish)
Pour all ingredients into a shaker, add ice, shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Milagro Tequila was founded in 1998 by two wide-eyed college friends who decided to take a chance and create a tequila that reflected the bright, vibrant, artistic world of Mexico City. To bring their vision to life, they sought out Pedro Juarez, one of the most distinguished Master Distillers in Mexico. For Juarez, creating a modern tequila meant taking full use of tradition – starting with the agave itself.
