On Oct. 23, Sewanhaka High School’s seventh-grade students in Diane Ventura’s joined Ventura’s nephew Thomas Fitzsimmons at the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation Walk at Eisenhower Park. The team raised $1,080 to help fund life-changing research to create a world without Type 1 diabetes.
