Woodmere Resident Robbed In Driveway

Police are looking for two men who robbed a Woodmere man as he exited his vehicle on July 23.

At 10:28 p.m., police say the 20-year-old victim arrived at his home on Neptune Avenue and as he exited his vehicle two unknown male subjects approached him and demanded money.

The subjects then took the victims cell phone and car keys and demanded that he open the front door of the home, according to police.  The victim complied and was lead upstairs where the subjects demanded that the victim open a safe.

Unable to do so, police say one of the subjects hit the victim over the head with an unknown object. Both subjects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Subject #1 is described as a male black, 25-30 years of age, no further description. The victim refused medical attention at scene.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-8477.  All callers will remain anonymous.
