Woodmere Homeowner Assaulted, Robbed

Police are looking for the man who assaulted and robbed a 69-year-old Woodmere woman in her home on August 22.

Police say at 2:12 p.m., the victim was entering her Forest Avenue home through a garage entrance when she was put in a chokehold from behind by an unknown male suspect.  The suspect demanded the victim’s jewelry and wallet.  The victim complied and the suspect, who was possibly wearing a hooded shirt, fled on foot in an unknown direction.  No injuries were reported.
