A Bronx woman was charged with criminal possession of forged instruments in Levittown on August 18.
Police say at 1:14 p.m. 20-year-old Patricia Jefferies entered Office Max located at 3350 Hempstead Tpke., and attempted to make purchases with a forged Capital One credit card. The store manager notified police and the Jefferies fled the scene in a waiting auto, according to police. Second Precinct police officers located the vehicle on Seamans Neck Rd. and placed Jefferies under arrest.
Police say Jefferies was also found to be in possession of two additional forged credit cards.
Jefferies is being charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree.
