W. Hempstead Robber Sought

Police are looking for two men who robbed a 7-11 in West Hempstead on April 30.

At 11:10 p.m., the two men, one armed with a black handgun, entered 820 Hempstead Ave. through an open side door and ordered both victims on the ground, according to police.

The men then took money from the register, exited through same door and fled in an unknown direction.  No injuries were reported.

The men are described as black, 5’8” to 6’, wearing black hoodies and masks that covered their faces.
