Town Seeks Gift Cards For Veterans

Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board, along with the town’s Veterans Advisory Committee, are promoting the Northport VA Medical Center’s Hero Hunger Help Project.

This is the town’s seventh annual drive to benefit the center. It seeks donations of gift cards from grocery stores.

The Hero Hunger Help Project is a 15-year program that helps veterans combat food insecurity.

The Northport VA will distribute gift cards to veterans receiving support services and those who need them.

The donation drive will run through Dec. 31.

Mail gift cards of any denomination to:

Veterans Advisory Committee
Town of North Hempstead
220 Plandome Rd., Manhasset, NY 11030
