TONH 2018 Summer Concert Series Set To Begin In July At Clark Botanic Garden

North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Board announce this year’s series of free summer concerts to be held Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. at the beautiful Clark Botanic Garden in Albertson.

“We are thrilled to have a diverse concert lineup this year at the beautiful Clark Botanic Garden, with everything from theatrical productions to dance to music,” said Supervisor Bosworth. “Bring a lawn chair, a snack and the whole family for a night of fun at our Clark Botanic Garden.”

July 10

Pat Farrell and the Cold Spring Harbor Band with a tribute to the Piano Man Billy Joel. 

The Cold Spring Harbor Band (CSH) is named after Billy Joel’s first solo album and headed up by lead vocalist and pianist Pat Farrell, a six-time Grammy contender and voting member of NARAS (Grammy Awards).

July 17 

On Family Night, the Plaza Theatrical Productions presents The Wizard of Oz. 

Join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Cowardly Lion as they come to life in a stage adaptation featuring the music of the MGM movie.

Rain date Thursday, July 19.

July 24

On Folk Night in the Garden, Dave Sear performs, followed by Marc Berger and Ride. 

Dave Sear and his banjo have been on the folk scene since the late 1940s. Marc Berger and Mike Ricciardi of Ride sing the songs of the American West.

Rain date Thursday, July 26.

July 31

Dance Visions with Beth Jucovy and dancers, along with visual art on display

Dance Visions NY is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which presents the works of Isadora Duncan and unique, original dance works that express shared humanity.

Rain date Thursday August 2.

August 14

Step into Celtic Night in the Garden, featuring the famous Cunningham Brothers.

The Cunningham Brothers are known as a high energy, party band that covers 
​music from the big band era right up to today’s hits.

Rain date Thursday, August 16.
