Sweep Closes Dozens of Outstanding Warrants and Two Cases

Nassau County Police Department’s Bureau of Special Operations Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team (CIRRT), Bureau of Special Operations, Special Investigations Squad, Fugitive Squad, Asset Forfeiture Intelligence Section, Narcotics/Vice Bureau, along with the Hempstead Police Department and the Nassau County Probation Department conducted a “Warrant Sweep” which resulted in the closure of 68 outstanding warrants. During the sweep, two other pending cases were closed; one involving a robbery and one for an assault. The Public Information Office reported the details of the sweep.
