Successes For Elmont Memorial Athletics

Congratulations to Elmont Memorial High School athletes, who brought pride and recognition home to their school community during the weekend of March 3.

  • The boys winter track 4×4 relay team won the New York State and Federation Championships.
  • The girls winter track 4×2 relay team placed third in the New York State Championships and fourth place in the Federation Championship.
  • The boys and girls basketball teams were crowned Nassau County Class A Champions.
  • Damahya Coeur was honored with the Section 8 Nassau County Male Sportsmanship Award.

Athletic Director Christopher Agostino extended his congratulations to coach Michael Graham, coach George Holub and coach Thomas Magno on their hard work and dedication, and said, “Your commitment to our student athletes is immeasurable.”

Agostino also acknowledged the cheerleaders and coach Wendy Spitaliere for all of their support.
