Richard Bolton of Queen’s Village Threatens Police

Police reported details of an arrest for making terroristic threats that occurred in Westbury at 3:20 a.m. on June 27.

According to detectives, Richard Bolton, 30, of 102-46 228th Street, Queens Village, called 911 and allegedly stated that he had a bomb strapped to his body in the vicinity of 165th Street in Jamaica, Queens, was going to blow up a New York City police precinct and then come to Nassau County and blow up more precincts. The suspect explained he was upset because he had received written summonses in Queens.

Upon investigating, detectives located Bolton in Queens on Friday, June 27, and placed him under arrest. He was charged with making a terroristic threat and was arraigned on Saturday, June 28, in First District Court, Hempstead.
