Never forget.

That’s what American’s promised after the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. And in keeping with that promise, the Long Island Air Force Association honors Pearl Harbor Survivors by dropping roses by the Statue of Liberty. One for each year since December 7, 1941 and a white one for Sept. 11, 2001.

View the video above for featured interviews with Jim Record, Geico Skytyper #7; Joe Daly; James Peter “Pete” Jepson, Patriot Guard Riders; Ken Nevor, VP of Communications of Long Island Air Force Association; William Stratemeier, Treasurer of Long Island Air Force Association.

Please note Pearl Harbor day survivor Seymour Blutt (1918-2018) passed away after the recording of this segment.
