Purse Snatcher Assaults Levittown Woman

Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Levittown at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 25.

According to detectives, the female victim, 24, exited her car after parking in the driveway of her Crest Lane residence when an unknown male subject approached her and threw her to the ground. The subject grabbed her pocketbook, containing her license and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect, described as white, 20-years-old, with dark shoulder-length hair, wearing a dark tee shirt and blue jeans, feld on foot, west on Crest Lane.

The victim suffered an abrasion to her right elbow, but declined medical assistance. Detectives request that anyone with information about this incident please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244 TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
