Police Looking for Bank Robber in Oceanside

Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at 9:29 a.m. on June 23 in Oceanside.

Police report that an unknown male subject entered the Roslyn Savings Bank located at 314 Long Beach Road on the morning of June 23, and presented a note to a female teller that contained a demand for money. There were five employees and one customer present in the bank at the time. After the subject was given an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, he fled south on Long Beach Road in a minivan taxi. No injuries were reported.

The subject was described as white, thin build 5’8”to 5’9” tall, wearing a blue or black tee shirt, jeans and sneakers.
