Police Investigating Commack Bank Robbery

Pattern Crime Unit Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at 11:35 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27 in Commack.

A man entered the Bank of America located at 41 Veterans Highway, and approached a teller with a note demanding cash. The teller surrendered the cash from the drawer and the robber fled on foot.

The robber is described as a white male, approximately five feet ten inches tall, 30 to 35-years-old, and bald, with a medium build and thin beard. He was wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt.

Suffolk County detectives request that anyone with information on this case call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
