Nassau County police are investigating shots fired in Roosevelt that occurred on May 9 at 10:25 a.m.
According to detectives, First Precinct officers received a Shot Spotter notification on East Greenwich Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two bullets had struck the front of a home located on the above street.
There were no reported injuries. Two .380 caliber shell casings were recovered at the scene. A white Chevrolet vehicle driven by a male black with shoulder length dreadlocks was observed fleeing from the scene.
