Kids get the chance to create and sample simple recipes during LICM’s weekly Kids in the Kitchen workshop.

Children experience critical foundational learning skills wrapped up in a day of play at Long Island Children’s Museum. Daily early childhood programs allow young visitors to develop motor skills, cooperation and communication in a nurturing environment.

Kids in the Kitchen

Friday, May 5, from 11:30 a.m.—noon

Teacher Act

Saturday, May 6, from 2 to 4 p.m.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week. Join the LICM as we decorate colorful foam photo frames to gift to our favorite teachers. Put down your notebooks and pencils and pick up some stickers and magnets to make a fun craft.

Ages: 3 and up. Free with museum admission.
