County Congratulates 2017 Girls Softball Champions

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano congratulated the East Meadow High School Girls Softball Team on winning the 2017 New York State High School Championship. Mangano presented the team with a citation, honoring them for their victory, at La Piazzetta Café in East Meadow, on Wednesday, July 19.

“Congratulations to the East Meadow High School Girls Softball Team on their impressive championship victory this year,” said County Executive Mangano. “It takes tremendous dedication, commitment and hard work from your teammates and coaches to become New York State Champs! Each and every one of you should be proud of your hard work and accomplishments, both on the field and off.”
