Nassau Pops Benefit Gala

NassauPops_102414The Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra is coming to the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County.

The Nassau Pops will present Strawberry Fields, the Ultimate Beatles Tribute Band who will perform the greatest hits of the Beatles accompanied by Maestro Louis Panacciulli’s sixty-piece orchestra. Their performance will recreate the sights and sounds of the Beatles through a series of costume changes.

NassauPops_102414_CThis eleventh annual benefit, will also present Cerebral Palsy’s singing sensation, Creation.  This group is a testimony to the work that United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau does at their fifteen-acre campus in Roosevelt, which is a therapeutic community that meets the needs of individuals from their birth to their senior years.

On-site services are provided for people with a broad range of mild to severe disabilities by a highly trained, experienced staff where everything from rehabilitation to recreational therapy, education to employment and specialized primary medical care is available.
