The COVID pandemic has impacted every facet of our lives. Easter services, the renowned Long Island Easter Car Show, and Easter egg hunts, among other activities, have been altered, downsized or cancelled altogether.

The Milleridge Inn in Jericho, however, is doing its part to restore some joy to the beloved holiday with a host of fun-filled and taste-tempting events that will delight the entire family. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, a traditional sit-down Easter dinner and a festive brunch/dinner buffet are restoring a sense of normalcy to Easter for the whole family, and young people will be filled with glee as they visit the Easter Bunny. What’s more, Easter Bunny home visits are delighting young people and families who prefer to stay at home during the Easter season. Finally, all of the dinners will feature a special visit from the Easter Bunny, replete with Easter eggs for youngsters.

The COVID-Safe Easter breakfast with the Easter Bunny offers youngsters an opportunity to visit and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. The Bunny will socially distanced from visitors and will sit inside his plexiglass Bunny lair. Breakfast with the Bunny will take place on Saturday, April 3. Seatings will take place every half hour between 9 a.m. and noon. The event is a prixe-fixe affair at $49 for adults and $29 for children between the ages of 2 and 12 (children under 2 are free).

Easter Dinner will be served at the Milleridge Inn’ Main House on Sunday, April 4. Reservations start at 11 a.m. and continue throughout the evening. The Easter meal at the Inn is a storied favorite for Long Island families. The sit-down prix fixe dinner is $57.95 for adults and $29.95 for kids between the ages of 2 and 12. The full-course dinner features six different main course options, including chef’s specialities. Desserts top off the meal, and there will be a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Everyone’s favorite fuzzy rabbit will bring easter eggs filled with candy for children.

The Milleridge Inn is also offering a family-friendly Easter buffet brunch and dinner, which is being served at the Milleridge Cottage on Sunday, April 4. The reservations start at 11 a.m. and continue throughout the evening. The full-course buffet also offers a host of traditional main course offerings, along with all of the other Easter meal side dishes and desserts. As with the sit-down dinner, the buffet will feature a visit from the Easter Bunny, who will be equipped with candy-filled Easter eggs for young guests. The price for the buffet is the same as the sit-down dinner ($57.95 for adults and $29.95 for children between the ages of 2 and 12 years of age).

For families that do not feel comfortable attending public events or for those who simply prefer the personal touch, the Milleridge Inn’s own army of Easter Bunnies is being deployed to deliver Easter baskets to children who delight in the traditional Easter Bunny visit. The Easter Bunny will be available to deliver Easter Baskets to youngsters on Easter morning. The cost of the visit with one Easter Basket is $89.95. Additional baskets are $20 each. All Bunny visits will be COVID-safe. Masks will be utilized, social distancing will be observed and sanitation protocols will be followed.
