A Chorus Line was originally conceived of, directed and choreographed by Michael Bennett, who drew inspiration for Val from dancer Mitzi Hamilton. Hamilton went on to become a  Broadway legend and has since staged numerous productions across the country of A Chorus Line. She looks forward to passing down the gift of Bennett’s direction and choreography to the next generation of dancers.
