Man Stabbed to Death in Huntington Station

Detectives are requesting help from the public in investigating the stabbing death of a man on June 28, in Huntington Station.

According to detectives, police officers responded to the rear of 14-19 New York Avenue, June 28 at 9:38 p.m. after a 911 caller reported that a man had been stabbed at that location. When officers arrived, they found Luis Ramos-Rodriguez lying on the ground with a stab wound.

Ramos-Rodriguez, of Huntington Station, was taken by the Huntington Community First Aid Squad to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing and an autopsy will be conducted by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office. Detectives are asking that anyone with information regarding this crime please contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
