On August 15, at 5 a.m. in Roosevelt, police responded in front of 86 Horace Avenue for a male white Hispanic, approximately 27 years old, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. It is believed that the victim was walking southbound on Horace Avenue when the assault occurred.
