Man Robbed In Freeport

Nassau County police are investigating a robber that occurred in Freeport on May 2.

A 34-year-old male victim was walking northbound on Mount Avenue near Grand Avenue at 9 a.m., when police say he was approached by five black men, all approximately in their early twenties.

One of the men grabbed the victim, while another took his wallet. 

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-8477.  All callers will remain anonymous.
