Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Massapequa

Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday, May 23 at 2:05 a.m. in Massapequa.

A 23 year-old male parked and exited his car on Oakley Avenue, when, according to detectives, two unknown black male subjects exited a dark-colored SUV and approached him. One of the subjects displayed a silver handgun while the men demanded their victim get on the ground and hand over his belongings. They proceeded to remove a watch, ear rings, chain and an undetermined amount of US currency from the victim’s pants pockets.

Subjects fled in the SUV and were observed traveling east on Trebor Road. There is no further description of the suspects available.

No injuries were reported. Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
