UPDATE: View Anton Media Group’s coverage of the marches in NYC, Farmingdale, Glen Cove, Port Washington and the Long Island students who traveled to Washington DC.

On Saturday, March 24, students and families will take to the streets to demand that their lives and safety become a priority in the eyes of legislators. Following the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, that took the lives of 17 people, the youth-led March For Our Lives movement seeks to end gun violence and mass shootings at schools through common sense legislative action.

The main rally will take place at noon in Washington DC outside the White House, at Pennsylvania Avenue NW, between 3rd NW and 12th NW. More than 500 sister events are expected to take place in communities around the world.
