League Of Women Voters Schedules Six Forums For Voters To Meet Candidates

In line with its mission to increase citizen participation in government and educate voters, the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Nassau County and individual local Leagues have scheduled six candidates’ forums for the month of October to help people make informed choices in the Nov. 5 general election.

The dates and basic details about each forum are given in chronological order below. The LWV encourages all Nassau County voters to take advantage of this free and convenient opportunity to meet their candidates, learn their positions on important issues, and ask specific questions.

Then vote on or before Tuesday, Nov. 5.
