League Of Women Voters Celebrates Women In Media

In recognition of Women’s History Month, the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Nassau County will host a buffet luncheon to celebrate “Women In Media” on Sunday, March 13, from noon to 4 p.m.

Newsday Columnist Joye Brown will be the luncheon’s keynote speaker.

The 2016 Women In Media honorees are: Angela Susan Anton, publisher and editor-in-chief of Anton Media Group; Shirley Ann Bruno, former executive director of Public Access TV and Silvana Diaz, publisher and editor of Noticia Long Island.

MediaWomen_DThe luncheon will be held at Verdi’s of Westbury, located at 680 Old Country Rd. in Westbury.
