Lands’ End Comes To Garden City

Grand opening to take place this weekend at The Gallery at Westbury Plaza

Lands’ End, a leading uni-channel retailer known for high-quality apparel for the whole family and the home, opened its newest retail location at The Gallery at Westbury Plaza in Garden City.

The 5,685-square-foot store features the brand’s latest products in time for the holiday season, including gift-worthy winter favorites such as outerwear and pajamas for the whole family. Other gift items include holiday printed throw blankets and cozy fleeces, with options for monogramming at its digital kiosk. In addition, holiday-themed gift boxes will be available for free with purchase to help make gifting easier.

“We’re so excited to join the Westbury community and grow our presence in New York with our first company-operated store on Long Island,” said Claudia Mazo, senior vice president of retail at Lands’ End. “With the holidays just around the corner, we look forward to celebrating with the community and making holiday shopping easier for families in the area.”

The grand opening celebration begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. with activities continuing throughout the weekend.

The public is invited to join Lands’ End in celebration of the new store on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shoppers can enjoy a holiday-themed photo station featuring an animated photo booth and festive props.

The first 100 guests to spend $100 during the grand opening will receive a free Lands’ End canvas tote.
