June Is Adopt A Shelter Cat Month

Little Shelter Animal Rescue has many wonderful cats available for adoption or fostering during the month of June. Valerie is one such cat.

This beautiful cat with golden rimmed yellow eyes is Valerie. She is a beautiful and gentle kitty who can always be seen holding her tail high. She loves getting affection and will jump on the counter, just to be eye level with you.

She loves to play tag where she will come and rub against your legs and right before you pet her, dart off just out of reach—only to return again. This is Valerie’s way of playing hard-to-get for your affection. She loves to be in the middle of the action with the other cats in the cattery and never misses and opportunity for treats.

From dramatic rescue to life-saving medical treatment, Little Shelter is committed to the lives and well-being of the animals in their care. The rescue and adoption of dogs and cats is the shelter’s priority, but their mission does not stop there. Other important initiatives, include the Little Shelter Animal Sanctuary, Feral Cat Initiative and the Humane Education Program, which are possible because of the generosity of donors.

Little Shelter appreciates all contributions.
