Swamp rock is alive and kicking courtesy of this Florida outfit that comes by way of Jacksonville. When you listen to this septet, elements of Muscle Shoals soul, choppy N’awlins funk and filthy blues-rock bubble to the surface. It’s particularly evident when you start wading into the band’s latest, last year’s This River.
