Jamie Durie To Speak At Hicks Nurseries

Award winning landscape designer, author and television personality, Jamie Durie will be speaking at Hicks Nurseries in Westbury on Wednesday, June 10, at 8 p.m. Durie, the star of the new television series Outback Nation will be giving a hands-on presentation, which will explore how to improve your outdoor spaces with Proven Winner plants. These plants are proven to provide instant color in the garden.

Durie, who was discovered by Oprah Winfrey in 2006, is the author of 10 best-selling books, as well as an international award-winning designer. He’s hosted more than 50 design television shows, which have aired in over 30 countries to millions of viewers. Outback Nation, Durie’s latest endeavor, recently premiered on A&E’s new lifestyle network FYI.

Each ticket provides entrance to the event, light snacks and a copy of Durie’s book—The Outdoor Room. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Jamie Durie’s seminar begins promptly at 8 p.m.
