Nassau County Police are seeking information from the public in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Robert Brown.
On Friday, May 23, at approximately 11:50 p.m., police officers responded to a 911 call to 245 Bennett Avenue in Hempstead. Upon arrival, they found a 16-year-old male had been wounded by gunshots fired in front of the building by a person or persons unknown. Officers transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:09 a.m. on May 24. Detectives later identified the teenager as Robert Brown. The police investigation is ongoing.
