hershey_101916cWhat better place to go trick-or-treating than Hershey? Your one stop shop for everything chocolate, the Pennsylvania staple has evolved from a theme park with chocolate tours and free Hershey’s kisses at the end to a destination for families throughout the year. But the upcoming holiday season is the brand’s biggest draw.

The park features safe, family-focused events, like the trick-or-treat adventure Hersheypark in the Dark, a flashlight walking experience at ZooAmerica and plenty of Halloween themed roller coasters and new attractions to ride.

hershey_101916bKids are encouraged to come in costume for the trick-or-treat adventure that embarks with a candy trail at Chocolate World and continues through Treatville, a seasonal town inside Herhseypark. Candy collecting will include all chocolate and candy varieties from Hershey and kids can take a break during the Flavors of Fall Dessert Festival with a tasty pumpkin pie milkshake before hopping on the Trick-or-Treat Trolley to learn about Milton Hershey’s life. Don’t worry, it features plenty of treats, no tricks. For those who haven’t had their fill of sweets, pop into Tricky Treats & Sweets and shop for goodies from the bakery in Hershey’s largest candy store.

Another unique exploration for families is Creatures of the Night at ZooAmerica, the only time of year when guests can tour the zoo after dark. Kids can feed pumpkin treats to animals and say hello to the zoo’s newest additions: two black bears and two armadillos. As for tasty snacks, fall themed food and beverages are in abundance to enjoy during live entertainment, including favorites the Screaming Mummies.

hershey_101916asiloAs the kids dive into candy, adults can immerse themselves in everything pumpkin at the Spa at the Hotel Hershey. Through Nov. 30, the spa offers guests fall-themed treatments including a pumpkin latte manicure and pedicure, a pumpkin spice scrub, pumpkin soufflé wrap and pumpkin facial. With a choice of stay between Hershey Lodge, Hersheypark Camping Resort and The Hotel Hershey, there are plenty of packages for every price point to choose from.

The spooky fun takes place Fridays through Sundays from Oct. 14 through 30. For more information, visit www.hersheypa.com and www.hersheypark.com.
