bonefishBonefish Grill Rockville Centre, located at 340 Sunrise Highway on the corner of Morris Avenue and Sunrise Highway, opened its doors Monday following a ribbon cutting with Mayor Fran Murray, members of the Chamber of Commerce, Bonefish Grill Managing Partner Marcus Andriotti, Bonefish Grill Joint Venture Partner Diane Hartzel and Bonefish Grill team members. After the doors opened, patrons and supporters of Feel Better Kids, Inc. enjoyed restaurant favorites, refreshing cocktails, and spectacular ambiance and music, all for a great cause. Fifty percent of the evening’s proceeds were donated to the local, non-profit organization, whose primary mission is to help children who are seriously ill or disabled. Bonefish Grill patrons helped to raise $5,000 for the organization.

“We are very happy to open our doors to the Rockville Centre community, and begin a wonderful partnership with Feel Better Kids,” said Marcus Andriotti, managing partner of the new restaurant. “This is a homecoming for me, as I return to where most of my family lives. I am proud to bring fresh seafood and excellent service to this area.”

Voted #1 in pleasant, friendly service in the 2013 Technomic Consumer Choice Awards, Bonefish Grill’s “Fresh Fish Experts” bring wood-grilled fish, seafood and a selection of chicken and steak options, innovative sauces and indulgent desserts to the Rockville Centre community. Coupling great-tasting food with a welcoming bar that features an array of ‘bar-fresh’ cocktails, extensive craft beer selections and an adventurous wine list, Bonefish Grill will excite and delight guests no matter their mood.

Patrons can expect to dive into a culinary experience, choosing from signature appetizers including Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang Shrimp®, PEI Mussels Josephine and eight different species of fish, paired with one of the restaurant’s four signature sauces.

The 5,407-square-foot Rockville Centre restaurant features a new modern interior design, highlighted by clean, contemporary lines blending warm, earthy color tones, golden hardwood accents, natural materials, wood and metallic flooring. A spacious dining room with an open kitchen and a large, energetic bar area that includes a mixed seating area with a communal table is inviting to guests. Unique ambient hand-blown glass light fixtures, dramatic accent lighting, and cylindrical sconces etched with representations of mangrove trees complete the space. Large windows in the bar overlook the patio dining and an outdoor lounge area.

Lunch will be served beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday featuring a variety of mix and match entrée salads as well as soup and salad lunch combinations starting at $6.90. Additional lunch menu items, including the Lily’s Chicken Wrap with goat cheese and artichoke pesto, will appear alongside Bonefish Grill’s tried and true favorites like Bang Bang Shrimp® Tacos.

Brunch is offered beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday when diners can decide between the beloved Traditional Eggs Benedict and twists to the classic like the Surf and Turf Eggs Benedict. Other dishes include the Crème Brulee French Toast battered in orange zest, made with Grand Marnier and served with hand-whipped cream, fresh mint, strawberries and bacon.

Dinner is served seven days a week: Monday through Thursday from 4 – 10:30 p.m., Friday from 4 – 11:30 p.m., Saturday from 3 – 11:30 p.m., and Sunday from 2 – 9 p.m. Lunch will be offered on Saturday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and brunch will be offered from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday.
