Five Fun Events On Long Island August 13-19

Looking for something fun to do this week? Check out these events happening in your area!

1

Willkommen and bienvenue! Leave your troubles behind when Cabaret comes to the Gateway Playhouse.

Set in post-World War I Berlin, this classic Tony Award-winning, provocative musical—and the naughty Kit Kat Klub—is worth revisiting. Hurry, Cabaret closes on Aug. 18.

2

Through Aug. 19, sausage and peppers and funnel cakes are part of the family fun at The SS Cyril & Methodius Annual Parish Festival. After you eat yourself silly, hop on Newton Shows collection of thrill rides.

3

August 18 and 19, party in Riverhead at the 44th Annual Polish Town Fair Polka Festival.
Kick things off with an all Polish Mass, a traditional Polish Wedding and then dance Polka all weekend long.

4

On Tuesday, Aug. 14, the streets close and the celebration starts at the Northport Harbor Family Nights.

Walk from store to store, take in live music and dance by the waterside.

5

If didn’t get enough American Idol this season, on Aug. 16, The Space at Westbury has your fix with American Idol Live!

The show will feature this season’s talented top seven finalists and a few special guests.
