Why Does Your Back Hurt?

NYU Winthrop Hospital will offer a free program open to the community, “Why Does Your Back Hurt? An Evening with Neurologists,” on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 7 p.m. The program will be held at the hospital’s Research & Academic Center, located at 101 Mineola Boulevard, at the corner of Second Street in Mineola.
Kenneth Chao, MD and Anastasia Eswar, MD, Attending Neurologists at NYU Winthrop Hospital, will discuss back pain, including the prevalence of back pain in adults, relevant anatomy, the various causes and red flags of low back pain, and when to seek care. Tests that your doctor may order and treatment options will also be addressed. A question and answer period will follow the lecture.
Limited parking is at the Research & Academic Center. Parking is available across the street in the garage behind the 120 Mineola Blvd. building. Entrance to the garage is on First Street. Please proceed to park on the third floor, use the walkway to enter the building, take the elevator down to the first floor, and cross the street to the Research & Academic Center.
