Farmingdale’s 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Farmingdale Village and the Farmingdale Village Merchants Association (FVMA) announce the 8th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade to be held on Sunday March 15 at 1 p.m. The parade kicks off from Northside Elementary School and spans about half a mile down Main Street to the Village Green including local community groups, Farmingdale Fire Departments, Pipe Bands, Village Officials, Husky Brothers – Snow Dog Club, South Shore Jeep Club and more! “We are honored to have Monsignor Mark Rowan as Parade Grand Marshal and look forward to a great Parade and St. Patrick’s Day community celebration in Farmingdale Village”, said Farmingdale Village Mayor Ralph Ekstrand.
“After the parade take photo op’s with shamrocks On the Village Green; explore the many downtown merchants, hot spots, clubs and restaurants, many offer dining and drink specials”, said Joe Fortuna of the Nutty Irishman, and Farmingdale Village Merchants Association (FVMA) committee leader.
