It’s a cultural explosion of song and dance as the Staller Center presents Ensemble Español in Flamenco Passion for Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, Oct. 26. Ensemble Español is the premier Spanish dance company and center in the United States, which includes 40 dancers, singers and musicians under the dynamic leadership of artistic director Irma Suárez Ruiz, and executive director Jorge Pérez. A fusion of classical, folklore, traditional, contemporary and Flamenco styles, Ensemble Español fills Staller Center’s Main Stage with a magnificent mosaic of world cultures, including Latin, North & South America, Asia, Middle East and Europe. The performances include the following dances: Flamenco, Folkloric, Escuela Bolera, Contemporary and Classical.
