Day of Giving CampaignNassau County Executive Ed Mangano joined Dr. Valerie Collins, Mayor of the Village of Island Park, Dr. W. Hubert Keen, President of Nassau Community College (NCC) and members of the NCC Foundation, for a dome lighting ceremony in honor of NCC, on Monday, Oct. 25 at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola. The dome of the Theodore Roosevelt Building was lit up blue and orange to kick off “The Day of Giving Campaign,” which helps raise funds for student scholarships.

“I want to thank Dr. Keen and the Nassau Community College Foundation for all the work they do every day in support of the nearly 20,000 students who attend NCC each year,” said County Executive Mangano. “The Day of Giving Campaign will help bring positive attention and support to Nassau Community College and its students. Together we can and will make the critical difference and impact on the College and the lives of the students that attend.”
