Division Avenue Varsity Cheerleaders Are Champions

The Division Avenue High School varsity cheerleading team in the Levittown Public School District won the New York State Game Day East Invitational on Oct. 29.

The Division Avenue High School varsity cheerleading team won the New York State Game Day East Invitational in their division.

They were pronounced the 2022 NYSPHSAA Class C Champions.

The team is led by seniors Liz Catania, Danielle Kennedy (captain), Sydney Martins (captain), Sofia Rella (captain), Ava Soto (captain), Kyra Bollinger and Courtney Moore.

Coached by Liz Lynch and Cristen Ronzo, the team traveled to Arlington to compete and walked away with the win in their division.
