Known as the Festival Capital of Florida, the area is truly passionate about its events, including world-famous Speedweeks (featuring the Daytona 500), Bike Week, Spring Family Beach Break and so much more. Enjoy a few. Or enjoy them all! You will be positively gushing over the people, the accommodations, the food and the sense of place that is uniquely Daytona Beach.

The Original American Beach has plenty that’s new for visitors of all ages. In the midst of investing close to $2 billion in renovations and construction, the destination features a recently-opened oceanfront roller coaster, a new planetarium, the new Cici and Hyatt Museum of Art, and even a $5 million renovation of the ever-popular Volusia Mall.

Festivals_BikeWeek_ABike Week, March 4 to 13

The “World’s Largest Motorcycle Event” rolls into Daytona Beach (pictured) for 10 days featuring motorcycle shows, exhibits, concerts, racing at Daytona International Speedway and street festivals. Bike Week has been designated a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event. Bike Week activities take place at various locations throughout the Daytona Beach area.

Spring Family Beach Break, March 14 to 31

These days, Spring Break in Daytona Beach (pictured) is truly a family affair, with multiple generations of families traveling to enjoy attractions, restaurants, concerts and more.

All Summer Long

Enjoy music in the sea breeze. Daytona Beach’s historic Bandshell’s free concert line-up features a series of tribute bands performing Saturday nights through mid-September. Come early, enjoy the Ocean Walk Village and Shoppes, stroll the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier, grab an ice cream and settle in for a musical night, with fireworks over the Atlantic to follow.

Enjoy the new Daytona Tortugas (pictured) baseball season May through September at historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark on City Island and get a stunning panoramic view of the Intracoastal Waterway, the beachside and historic downtown Daytona Beach. Hippie Fest, June TBD

Psychedelic fun. Break out the tie dye and head to this annual street and music festival that highlights the best of the memorable Hippies-era with a concert just off A1A beachside, at the Peabody Auditorium.

Great NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and the nation’s largest fireworks show (pictured)…be a part of the event that’s produced some of the most dramatic moments in racing history. At $10 a ticket for the kiddos, it’s the perfect way to spend a summer night with the family.
