Fresh off of playing Gathering of the Vibes over the weekend up in Bridgeport, Conn. is one of the premier Grateful Dead tribute bands. This Chicago-based outfit is unique in that it performs shows that are replicas of original Dead gigs right down to the set list, phrasing, vocal arrangements and even specific musical equipment. Most recently, the band has replicated shows from Dec. 1, 1971 (Boston Music Hall), Aug. 4, 1976 (Jersey City’s Roosevelt Stadium) and Oct. 31, 1990 (Wembley Arena).
