NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, was recently named No. 22 in the U.S. and No. 46 worldwide in ticket sales for all venues, according to Pollstar’s third-quarter report. This announcement comes shortly after Billboard’s mid-year report recognized the arena as the country’s highest grossing venue and No. 4 worldwide in the 10,001- to-15,000- capacity space just months after reopening.

“Being named among the industry’s top venues worldwide for ticket sales is a great honor and true testament to our team’s hard work,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment. “We’ve had an incredible lineup over our first six months and we appreciate the immense support and patronage of our community. As we look to the future, we will continue to bring dynamic sports and entertainment programming to Long Island.”

Since its reopening on April 5, the Coliseum has hosted a variety of major events, including Billy Joel, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders, WWE Monday Night RAW, the Harlem Globetrotters, Def Leppard, Barbara Streisand, the final Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey run, Metallica, Barry Manilow, The Weeknd, professional boxing, UFC, J. Cole, and many more.

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment—the business enterprise that manages and controls Barclays Center, Brooklyn Nets, New York Islanders business operations and NBA D-League’s Long Island Nets—oversees operations and programming for the Coliseum. The newly renovated 416,000 square-foot arena hosts a variety of events annually, including concerts, family shows, sporting events, outdoor festivals and more.

NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, reopened on April 5, 2017 after undergoing an extensive renovation. The Coliseum offers 14,500 seats for basketball, MMA and boxing, 13,900 for hockey, up to 15,000 for concerts, and 4,500 seats for its theater configuration. With a focus on emerging businesses, BSE identifies and creates alliances, strategic partnerships and other business opportunities to ensure the success of its assets.
