Champions for Charity Holiday Shopping Benefit

From Thursday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 2, the American Manhasset Champions for Charity annual holiday shopping benefit will be held with 25 percent of shoppers’ full-price pre-tax purchases at participating Americana Manhasset and select Wheatley Plaza stores being donated to participating charities chosen by each shopper.

Two charities that have joined together and can be selected by shoppers are Autism Communities (www.autismcommunities.org), a 501(c)(3) organization, whose mission is to provide housing solutions for adults with autism in safe, supportive communities where they can enjoy fulfilling lives, supported by a person-centered culture of care for their lifetime and Pal-O-Mine Equestrian (www.pal-o-mine.org), a private, not for profit providing a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing for children and adults with disabilities, as well as those who have been abused or neglected, veterans and the economically compromised. By selecting Autism Communities and Pal-O-Mine Equestrian, you can help these organizations achieve their vital missions.
