Camera crews were spread out around Massapequa, on Sept. 29, to film scenes for upcoming episodes of the CBS Television drama Madam Secretary.
The series, which airs Sundays at 8 p.m., follows newly appointed Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, played by actress Téa Leoni, as she tries to balance her personal and professional life. Madam Secretary also features co-stars as Bebe Neuwirth and Tim Daly.
After filming a scene at John J. Burns Park, CBS camera crews set up at the Nautilus Diner on Merrick Rd. in Massapequa to film, which announced that it will be closed at 3 p.m. to film scenes from the show. The diner will reopen at its normal time tomorrow, Sept. 30.
