Carle Place Bank Robbed

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday, May 30 at 9:48 a.m. in Carle Place.

According to detectives, an unknown black male entered the Chase Bank located at 400 Old Country Road. There were five employees and no customers present at the time.
The subject presented a bank taller with a note demanding cash. After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the subject fled on foot north on Roosevelt Court.

Described as being 5’9” tall, 30-40 years-old, with a black shoulder length wig, dark hat, and sun glasses, wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with purple markings on the front, the suspect may have entered a side passenger door of a grey sedan. There were no injuries reported.
