Take a bus trip to Wave Hill with Clark Botanical Gardens’ staff on Thursday, May 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Overlook New York’s beautiful Hudson River at Wave Hill located in the Riverdale section
of the Bronx. Wave Hill is an historical site and an extraordinary horticulture garden. Aesthetic sensibility and human experience of the natural environment are the horticultural emphasis of Wave Hill’s 28 acres of gardens, grounds and woodland.
The tour of Wave Hill begins at 10:30 a.m. with a guided garden tour focusing on seasonal highlights and given by an experienced garden guide who will give an overview of the carefully cultivated gardens and extensive collection of rare and unusual plants. After the garden tour, enjoy a box lunch consisting of assorted sandwich selections, mixed green salad, North Fork chips and cookie, whole fruit and bottled water or canned soda. At 2 p.m. enjoy a gallery tour and an art show on exhibit.
