Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, in Miller Place.
According to police, a man used a key to unlock the door at Ralph’s Italian Ices, located at 745 Route 25A at approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 18 and allegedly stole approximately $2000 in cash. The suspect seemed familiar with the layout of the business and the location of the money. The suspect, who was described as white, with a husky build, was wearing glasses, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a white shirt underneath, and jeans with a hole on the right rear side, near the pocket. Additionally the suspect wore dark sneakers and dark gloves.
