Blood & Babes Comic Con, “The Ultimate Horror Convention Experience,” is coming to Long Island on Sept. 12-14. Pop culture fans will get to meet and greet more than 70 horror scream queens, Playboy playmates, glamour models and cinematic props (including the Bumblebee auto from Transformers) who’ll be appearing over the course of three days. A silent auction will also be held to raise money for the Jack Kirby Research Museum. Movie buffs will also get to view screenings of more than eight screenings of popular horror movies from an array of acclaimed indie filmmakers including Mike O’Mahony (A Dark Place Inside).

An after party will also take place Saturday night at Dave & Busters in the same building which will include a buffet, open bar, unlimited video games, bowling and billiards. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the ladies and take photos with them. In addition, a concert featuring top horror rock band Demon Boy will be held along with a swimwear fashion show consisting of at least 10 models.

There will also be numerous vendors including Diabolique, “The Premiere Horror Genre Magazine” selling merchandise, posters, toys, magazines, autographs, T-shirts, jewelry, trading cards (sport and non-sport). On-site Mexican food will be provided by Cozymel’s. Blood & Babes Comic Con will take place in Westbury’s Source Mall located at 1504 Old Country Rd.
